Our streamlined process
Discovery Call: You had us at hello. Our Principal Designer will offer you a 20-minute complimentary discovery call to get to know you better and discuss your project in more detail. We will also ask questions about your desired timeline and budget and share the services we think are right for you. If you decide to move forward with our paid consultation, we will schedule it on this call.
Consultation: Ready to take it to the next level? Our design team will do an onsite visit to your home and meet with all the decision makers on location to get an in-depth understanding of your design needs, personality, and lifestyle. We will take some high level measurements, talk about furnishings and pieces to be included in your design, and get to know YOU. We ask lots of questions and take lots of notes! We like to know everything about how you love to live in your home, down to where you like to sit to sip your morning coffee and enjoy your evening glass of Pinot Noir.
Follow-Up Meeting: We will have a follow up meeting via Zoom within two business days, where we will present an estimate and a Design Agreement. In this meeting, our Principal Designer will go over all the details of the agreement as well as next steps in getting your project scheduled and we will establish your project start date!
Project Kickoff Meeting: During this meeting, we will take detailed measurements of your space and wrap up with an idea session. This will give us some insight into what elements and aesthetics you are most drawn to.
Trade Day: Our design team will coordinate the options for trades people who will be involved in your project, based on the Scope of Work. We will establish a “Trade Day” where we will bring in the team to collect bids and/or measure the project.
Design Concept: Four to six weeks after our start date, you will see us back at your home to review your Design Concept with you. At this meeting, we will establish the floor plan and style of your project and discuss pricing further. We will establish the final investment that will be used in the Design Plan part of our process.
Design Plan: When it all starts coming to life! In this phase, we use the feedback you have provided us with to take a deep dive into the actual pieces we will source for your project. We also show you actual fabrics, materials, and pieces that will be used in your design! Our favorite part is sitting down with you to present your design concept to all decision-makers and watch your jaw drop!
This typically takes six to eight weeks from our initial visit, but we will give you a time estimate (based on the size of your specific project) in your Design Agreement.
Product Approval: Upon your approval of the Design Concept Presentation, we will pull together a Product Approval document that you will sign off on to approve your selections and allow us to order on your behalf.
Payment: As soon as we have your signed Product Approval document, we will send you the furnishings and accessories invoice for your project for you to make full payment on immediately so the ordering can begin!
Logistics and Tracking: Once all the orders have been placed, we will begin to receive tracking information from our vendors as well as projected ship dates. We are always committed to communication with you, so you stay up to date every step of the way!
Styling Plan: About 30 days before your install date, we will meet with you to talk through our approach to styling your space. We will discuss the level of styling we recommend for your project
Install Planning: You thought the design presentation was fun? Once all items are in and inspected thoroughly, we will schedule white glove delivery of all furniture, large accessories, rugs and window treatment installation. We will also be accessorizing and styling your space. We coordinate all the logistics and planning to ensure everyone and everything is on time and where they need to be
Install/Reveal: We can give you a time estimate of how long this will take based on the scope and size of your project. During this phase, we are working hard to install and reveal your project to you! We will be busy accessorizing and styling your space. It’s a busy day (or days) and we appreciate you being out of the home if at all possible.
Photography and Media Day: We will bring in our professional photographer to capture the beauty of your home. We make every attempt to plan this right after install and right before you see your home presented to you! With your permission, these images may make an appearance on our website and marketing. We take our client confidentiality very seriously and will never share your name nor address.
Close Project: We will check in with you after the install has been completed as well as perform a final walkthrough. We tie up any punch list items and make sure you are over-the-moon and happy with your new space.
